A Bold Relaunch Celebrating Community, Business, and Heritage

The Stonehenge Chamber, formerly known as The Stonehenge Chamber of Trade, announces its official relaunch under a refreshed name and renewed mission. This transformation underscores the organisation’s commitment to uniting local businesses, residents, and stakeholders in promoting economic vitality, community spirit, and the rich heritage of the Stonehenge area.

The relaunch marks an evolution from its origins as The Stonehenge Chamber of Trade into a dynamic non-profit entity dedicated to fostering collaboration and growth.  By embracing the iconic Stonehenge name more prominently, the Chamber aims to highlight the region’s world-renowned heritage while driving modern business opportunities and community initiatives. “This relaunch is more than a name change, it’s a reaffirmation of our role as a cornerstone for Amesbury and surrounding areas,” said Chamber Chairman, Kyle McCletchie. “We’re excited to build on our legacy by amplifying our focus on business support, charitable efforts, and celebrating the heritage that draws visitors from around the globe.

At the heart of The Stonehenge Chamber’s mission is a four-pillar approach:

  • Business: Encouraging a thriving local economy through networking, employment opportunities, and enhanced services for residents and visitors alike.

  • Community: Fostering collaboration and spirit via events, fundraising, and inclusive activities that bring people together.

  • Heritage: Celebrating and preserving the shared cultural legacy of Stonehenge and the surrounding region, in partnership with key stakeholders like Wiltshire Council, Amesbury Town Council, and English Heritage.

  • Tourism: Boosting visitor footfall through targeted promotions and initiatives that showcase the area’s unique attractions.

As a non-profit organisation, all funds raised by The Stonehenge Chamber are reinvested directly into community projects, charitable causes, and local development.  The relaunch includes plans for upcoming events designed to engage members and the public, such as networking sessions and community fundraisers, with details to be announced soon.

Local businesses, non-profits, and community-minded individuals are invited to join The Stonehenge Chamber to contribute to this exciting new chapter. Membership offers opportunities for collaboration, access to resources, and a platform to influence positive change in the region. We want to offer you the chance to join us on whichever membership best suits your needs, to support the community events in and around Amesbury.
