The Stonehenge Chamber of Trade were out in force over the Easter Weekend with the Easter Bunny and friends, travelling around the local community, giving out eggs to children along the way.
Over two days and 80+ miles; thousands of households in Longhedge, Shrewton, Larkhill, Alanbrooke Estate, Amesbury, Bulford and Durrington were visited.
Bunny stops were included to allow for photo opportunities and dancing with the Easter Bunny & friends. Almost 2000 eggs were given out, with a collection along the way raising £266.86 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
A leaflet was given out with various Easter discounts for local businesses that had purchased additional eggs to make the event a chocolate filled success. A big thank you to the members of the community that turned out to support the event and made donations, to the Chamber members for the sponsorship of the eggs and to the events team that continue to give up their spare time to build the community spirit.
